At Saint-Eugène, Stational Vespers of Easter will be celebrated at 0800 my time, according to the ancient Roman tradition from perhaps the 8th century ('stational' simply refers to the fact that the ministers and schola keep three or four 'stations' during a procession, recalling the popes' procession in the City from the Lateran Basilica to the Baptistery to the Church of Saint Andrew). The custom fell into desuetude after popes removed to Avignon but was maintained afterward in many of the churches of France and the Rhineland. The Schola Sainte-Cécile's libellus is here. I will have to listen to the video-recording since I have to go out to Holy Mass at the parish, the less said about which the better.
