Today is Tuesday infra Octavam Corporis Christi, with a commemoration (since I'm not quite sure when) of Saint Anthony of Padua, Confessor and (since 1946) Doctor of the Church ; after Pius XII went on to suppress the Octave today became the feast of the Holy Doctor-- so I'm guessing that at Saint-Eugène his Mass Os iusti meditabitur will be said. At Barroux, also, the Mass seems to be Factus est Dominus of Sunday, with commemoration of Saint Anthony. We shall see.
I did at last begin to figure out what three sets of initials in Barroux's ordo stand for, I think: SM, AN, and MC. I think they refer to variations in the Liturgy proper at Barroux and its foundations viz. Barroux itself (SM), Notre-Dame de l'Annunciation (the abbey of nuns, AN), and then... well, I have no idea what MC refers to so my theory may not be very persuasive. There was a foundation attempted in Italy; whether that has prospered, I don't know.
The Barroux YouTube page produces no audio again today. The audio only is in fact working, albeit without the sound of the bells that ordinarily have begun the recordings-- unlike in the past one has to allow the recording to proceed silently until some seconds after the six minute mark before the Deus in adiutorium is heard. Hmm. I did write a note in mangled French to the attention of whoever reads their 'Offices en direct' emails.
The monks are indeed singing the Sunday Mass Factus est Dominus, with commemoration of Saint Anthony. The 'audio only' seems to be less robust than it has been e.g. am having to have the volume here set at '49' in order to hear it whereas it was easily audible at '25' in the past. Hmm.
Yet again there is no streaming of Holy Mass from Saint-Eugène, alas.
1. Joann. 3, 13-18.
V. Dómine, libera ánimam meam a lábiis iníquis, et a lingua dolósa.
Allelúja, allelúja. V. Ps. 7, 2. Dómine, Deus meus, in te sperávi: salvum me fac ex ómnibus persequéntibus me et líbera me. Allelúja.
+ Sequéntia sancti Evangélii secúndum Lucam.
Luc. 14, 16-24.
Postcommunio. Divínis, Dómine, munéribus satiáti: quǽsumus; ut, beáti Antónii Confessóris tui méritis et intercessióne, salutáris sacrifícii sentiámus efféctum. Per Dóminum.
