I got almost seven straight hours of sleep, which is fairly unusual. A beautiful clear morning, a quarter of an hour or so after Dawn. I believe the present 46 degrees is the coldest it's been thus far this Summer. Today is the feast of the Abbot Saint Giles, Aegidius in Latin (Introibo, CE, Wiki), and that of the Twelve Holy Brothers (Introibo) is commemorated (at Vespers yesterday, Mass, and Lauds-- when I am done here). Saint Giles is one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers.
Time for Lauds and Prime, tsk. Am very late.
It is also the feast of Saint Sinicius (3rd century), of Saint Regulus (6th century), and of Saint Justin (14th century).
V. Et álibi aliórum plurimórum sanctórum Mártyrum et Confessórum, atque sanctárum Vírginum. R. Deo grátias.
