But there was some color at Dawn, low at the horizon. It is the Monday infra Octavam Corporis Christi, the Mass being of the feast (Introibo); in any case, the Office is of the Octave, the lessons this morning being from the First Book of Kings, St John Chrysostom, and Saint Augustine. In places where the Octave is not kept, the Mass is of the 2nd Sunday post Octavam Pentecostes, Factus est Dóminus protéctor meus (Introibo).
It is also the feast of Saint Robert of Newminster (12th century), of Saint Colman (6th century), and of Saint Godescalcus (11th century).
V. Et álibi aliórum plurimórum sanctórum Mártyrum et Confessórum, atque sanctárum Vírginum. R. Deo grátias.
